To create a new Automation, go to Automations, select Create, and complete the form.

  • Automation Name: This can be anything you want, but it’s recommended to use something descriptive and related to the Automation. This field is editable, so you can update it anytime.

  • Text Message: This is the content of the Automation and what will be sent to the guest. You can personalize it using the following keys: {name}, {arrive_date}, {depart_date}.

  • Status: You can disable Automations from sending if needed. When an Automation is disabled, it will no longer send to guests.

Criteria

  • Criteria: you can select to send this message to:

    • Customers Arriving In:

    • Customers Arrived:

    • Customers Departing In:

    • Customers Departed:

  • Days: This is the day value that relates to the Criteria, for example:

    • Customers Arriving In 1 Day

      • This will send the automation to all guests with an arrival date in 1 day

    • Customers Arrived 1 Day

      • This will send the automation to all guests who arrived 1 day ago

    • Customers Departing In 1 day

      • This will send the automation to all guests departing in 1 day

    • Customers Departed 1 day

      • This will send the automation to all guests who departed 1 day ago

  • Time: This is the time you want to the send the automation to all of the guests based on the criteria you have set.

It's important to note, if you have a PMS integration with Scanotel, we will automatically refresh your contact list with the latest information from your PMS before sending the automation.
